How did your journey began?
Before traveling in India, I didn't know anything about henna, but when I was in Varanasi in 2015, I decided to have a henna design on me, like a trip memories...when I saw the artist using henna, I felt in love with the art, and decided to try when I would come back at home. I did it, using chemical cones and after fews using, I has an allergic reaction and so I started to learn more about henna! I learned how to make my own 100% Organic henna paste and I kept practicing on me and my friends.
If you weren’t an doing this, what do you think you’d be doing?
Till 2 years ago I was a music therapist and educator. I worked helping adult people with disabilities ❤️
What’s a random fun fact about you that most people don’t know?
Before being in India I didn't know anything about henna! I thought that was something like a painting...and I didn't study henna in India, but I learned it self-taught when I came back to Italy
What’s the best piece of life advice you’ve ever received?
Growth takes time, and staying true to my unique style is what truly matters.
What were some of the biggest challenges you faced in your journey, and how did you overcome them?
My challenge is now🥰 I've started my business 2 years ago when my children were 7 and newborn...sometimes it was hard to do everything (like a mum and a business woman who nee to improve her social presence) and to stay away from home because of work, but I have a wonderful husband who supports me everyday and in every situation ❤️
What are your dreams or goals?
My dream is to share with more people my passion, my art and my knowledge about henna, always respecting this amazing plant tradition and culture
